Looking for a reliable laundromat attendant with good customer service skills. Must be local to LincolnHeights. Fluff & Fold experience & Spanish speaking a bonus.
- Greet walk‑in customers, answer questions about machine use, detergents, and store policies.
- Manage drop‑off “fluff &fold” orders: log incomingloads, weigh and tag bags, note special instructions, and package folded laundry for pickup.
- Monitor washers and dryers for unbalanced loads, jams, or error codes—pause or restart cycles as needed.
- Clean out lint traps, wipe door gaskets, check coin mechanisms, and alert the manager or service tech to issues that need repair.
- Keep floors swept and mopped; sanitize folding tables, carts, and customer seating areas throughout the day.
- Empty lint‑trap barrels, trash bins, and recycle containers; dispose of unattended clothing following store policy.
- Deep‑clean machines at scheduled intervals: wipe drums, clear detergent drawers, and remove debris from filter screens.
- Maintain inventory of detergents, plastic bags, and janitorial supplies; submit restock requests to the manager.
- Enforce safety rules (no running, no blocking aisles with bags, children supervised), and follow basic security protocols.
